These are CR/SF 123A Lithium batteries. They are expensive at $2.50-4.95 EA. Buy them in bulk and they are less.

I need them for my Surefire Z2 Combatlight as well as my Surefire X200 weapons light. I bought a box of 50 last year for a really good price and still have about 45 left. They have a very long shelf life.

Lock It Up!

I think if you own ANY firearms, you need a gun safe. One can be bought from Sportsman's Guide or Cabelas for under the cost of a good pistol; $400.00.

Here is mine. I customized the outside of it with things that are important to me.

Here's a SAMPLE of what you may want to put in your's:

Solio Solar Powered PDA Charger

So even if the power goes out for a couple of days, you can recharge your cell phone or whatever. You can even do it on the go as you just put it in an outer pocket.

The Solio holds a stored charge so I can just connect the phone and it will charge up the phone once a day. It doesn't have to be sunny outside to work. You can transfer the charge from the Solio to your phone anytime 24/7.

A Good Flashlight

I think these pictures speak for themselves.

I had a Surefire 6P that I took to Iraq with me in 2004. I gave it to my daughter who still has it without knowing it's sentimental value.

I bought this as the replacement. You can get extra bulbs, LED conversion lamps & batteries from all over the web.

Strong beam, bright, tough, dependable.......what else can you say?

Multi-Tool

Most people call them "Leathermans" or "Gerbers". They are Multi-tools.

Remember in the original SPEED movie where Reeves' character stuck a multi-tool in the doors of the elevator to keep them open?

I have two; a SOG and a Leatherman. I prefer the SOG as it is more like a set of Duckbill pliers. Whereas, the Leatherman is more like a set of needle nose pliers.

The SOG went to theatre with me where I broke off the file, but other than that piece of neglect on my part, it has been perfect.

Here are a few other knives to have just in case.

Gotta Have a Decent Phone

Here's mine.

A 2 gen iPhone. 16 GB. I paid $100.00 more and got DOUBLE the memory back when it was new. It still does almost everything I want: E-mail, photos, text messages, map, phone, You Tube, movies, a few games & a few kewl utilities.

Things it won't do: Play mpegs & no real GPS. The exernal speaker is a POS! And the headphone port is smaller than most plug shrouds on headsets so you have to find a set that will fit in it.

Do You Have a BOB?

It's just a "Bug Out Bag". A few things that would be very handy if you broke down on the side of the road or if there was an "emergency" of some kind. Here's mine. It's a Maxpedition.

Daily Carry Items

Here are just a few things you may want to carry around with you. Of course you have to live in "Free America" to get a CCW to carry legally. Of course you can't do this legally if you live in Kaliforniastan or the Democratic People's Republick of IL or NY.

Gotta Have a Good Watch

If you have nothing else a good watch is always needed.

Here's mine. It went to Kuwait/Iraq for OIF II in MAR 04 till MAR 05.

Solar powered is a basic requirement.
